Modern Family

ABC, which already has renewed a dozen series, has taken another small step toward filling out its fall schedule by granting a 13-episode order to Modern Family, a new mockumentary-style comedy.

Described as “a look at the complications that come with being a family” in today’s times, the series boasts an ensemble that includes Ed O’Neill (Married … with Children), Sofia Vergara (Knights of Prosperity), Julie Bowen (Ed) and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (The Class). TV vets Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd will serve as executive producers.

My clothes dryer has died, apparently (apparrantly? apparantly?? #*#x!!)

Anyway, it worked just fine…then it would shut off after 30 min or so, then I was lucky if it would work for five minutes…then one minute.

So I decided I would take the back off the dryer and check things out.  And do you know what interested me when I looked at the back of my dryer?

Nothing!

Do you know what you see when you take the metal cover off the back of your dryer?  You see another metal sheet…and a few wires and some old lint.  I don’t know what I was supposed to look for.

I guess I thought I would find a damaged belt.  And I would go to the hardware store and get a new belt.  And I would snap the new belt on and the dryer would fire up.  Then Tracie would come home and I would present her with FLUFFILY dried clothes.  And she would make me some chocolate cake.

Instead, I put the back cover on the dryer just like it was before…minus a screw.  I managed to lose a screw…that was all I accomplished.

Why do I even own tools?

Another fabulous fall wedding reception.  We made Tartan West in Dublin SHAKE Staurday night!  Here were the biggest songs of the evening (the dance floor was PACKED all night…they danced to everything!)

The beautiful rooftop pool-deck at the Columbus Renaissance was the scene for Anthony & Heather’s wedding ceremony.  I set up sound for the vows.  This is truly a spectacular setting- one of the best in Columbus.

We rocked out the ballroom later with a PACKED dance-floor all night.  This group was a blast- they danced to everything!  Biggest songs of the night:
